Chris specifically chose tiling as a career change around 2000 to allow him to use his creativity and passion for attention to detail in a more ‘hands on’ way Living in Devon, he was taught to tile by a long serving tiler and having completed his training worked together on a variety of projects with his mentor. Chris then branched out with another fellow tiler, working mainly in Slate and Stone on a large number of projects of varying sizes and complexity. Some of which can be seen on the galleries, elsewhere on this site. Following re-location to Cambridge in 2006 Chris found work on an exclusive development near Cambridge City centre, which takes up a good deal of his time, because of the quality of his work and workload that he was offered in mid 2007, he decided to train Allan, a good friend, in the art of tiling, a venture that is now reaching its conclusion Between us we have worked with virtually every material it is possible to tile with, including ceramics, porcelain, slate, travertine, limestone, marble, granite and mosaics in ceramic, glass and stone.
